WELCOME HOME
Pasadena Trails is a resident-owned manufactured home community in Pasadena, Texas. We are a terrific neighborhood in the Bay Area for people who prefer a small community close to larger cities. Situated only 30 minutes from Houston and 45 minutes from Galveston, Pasadena provides easy access to Trinity Bay, known for excellent fishing in its marshes and bayous. We offer a friendly community in a convenient location and sit a mile from the Beltway 8 and three miles from State Highway 225. Interested in outdoor activities? The Battleground Golf Course, Ella and Friends Dog Park, and the Armand Bayou Nature Center are just moments away. Looking to change careers with a new degree or certificate? San Jacinto College Central campus is 10 minutes from Pasadena Trails, only one of Greater Houston's 14 major institutions of higher learning.
Pasadena Trails is owned by the community Members who live here – we are a resident-owned community (ROC). That means we control the rent and make the rules. On June 30, 2009, the ROC purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected Board of Directors manages the business of running Pasadena Trails. Every Member household in the community has a say in who sits on the Board, how we spend our money, the annual budget, and whether we make changes to the rent.
We're also part of a national network of more than 200 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training, communication with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do, and more. Life in Pasadena Trails Cooperative is truly different than in a commercially-owned community – we invite you to find out firsthand how that difference makes living here so much better.
